The Wägitalsee (Lake Wägital) is the site of one of the many hydroelectric dams in Switzerland. At present, only the river (Wägital Aa) downstream from the dam has been developed into scenery. It was necessary to do this first in order to install the two bridges over the canyon which allowed me to complete track laying for the layout. With the track plan complete, I can now devote my efforts to installing the DCC system. I chose EasyDCC because of its ease of use,  full function, and reasonable price. I will be using radio throttles to make the controlling of the trains easier for the operators.

The first completed scenery for the layout is shown in these images. The water is Realistic Water from Woodland Scenics.
